You Should Be Listening To: Onda Vaga

Onda Vaga is an Argentinian term for "good vibes" which is exactly what you feel when you listen to the Buenos Aires-based band, Onda Vaga. Their rumba-cumbia-reggae-folk-rock-tango style turns a room full of strangers into a party of smiling, grooving best friends. We had the fortunate opportunity to befriend the guys of Onda Vaga during our time in Buenos Aires and hear them play at the awesome Konex, which was packed with screaming, dancing, sweating fans. These guys are taking Argentina by storm and were also invited to play a festival in Japan during our visit. If you get a chance to see Onda Vaga live, do yourself a favor and don't miss it.

  1. I have been listening to these guys for a few years, and I cannot get enough of them. Their music ignites a friendly union that crosses both language and cultural barriers. I check their site frequently...when are they coming to the US?!?! I live in New York, and would be interested in finding out how I could convince them to come here because their music would most definitely be welcomed with open arms.

Hey y'all, leave us some love!
